Iberian PLAN BIOLOGY 2027

Dear colleagues,
It is a great pleasure to invite you to the Iberian Plant Biology-2025 Congress (IPB-25) which, on behalf of the Spanish and Portuguese Plant Biology Societies, will be held in Murcia (Spain) from 1 to 4 July 2025.
This biennial congress corresponds to the XXVI Meeting of the Spanish Society of Plant Biology (SEBP), of which we will celebrate in a very special way its 50th anniversary, and to the XIX Spanish-Portuguese Congress of Plant Biology. We are convening researchers and anyone interested in understanding how plants function at all levels of integration: molecular, cellular, organ and plant, as well as providing solutions so that the relationship between plants and the environment can lead us to a greener and more sustainable world to tackle climate change. That is why the motto that will unite us will be «Plants for a sustainable world».
From the Organising Committee we are working to ensure scientific success, bringing together young researchers (PhD-meeting) and prestigious speakers, providing spaces in which we can discuss and exchange ideas, and so that you have a happy stay in our welcoming city, whose 1200 years of existence are linked to the culture of water and its fertile ‘huerta’.
We encourage you to prepare inspiring communications that will allow us to advance in the knowledge of plant biology.
