XX International Congress on Plant Biology

WELCOME
Dear colleagues,
It is a great pleasure to invite you to the Iberian Plant Biology 2027 Congress (IPB-27), which, on behalf of the Spanish Society of Plant Biology (SEBP) and the Portuguese Society of Plant Biology (SPBP), will be held in Granada, Spain, from 1 to 4 June 2027.
This biennial congress will bring together researchers and professionals interested in understanding how plants function at all levels of biological organisation, from molecular and cellular processes to whole-plant physiology and plant–environment interactions.
IPB-27 will provide a forum to present and discuss the latest advances in plant biology, exchange ideas, establish new collaborations and explore how plant science can contribute to addressing current environmental and agricultural challenges.
The Organising Committee is working to create an engaging scientific programme that combines internationally recognised speakers with opportunities for early-career researchers to present and discuss their work. A dedicated PhD Meeting will once again provide a space for young scientists to exchange ideas, share their research and strengthen connections within the plant biology community.
Alongside the scientific programme, we hope you will enjoy your stay in Granada, a city with an extraordinary historical and cultural heritage and a unique setting at the foot of the Sierra Nevada.
We encourage you to join us and contribute with inspiring communications that will help advance our understanding of plant biology.

IPB-27 will be held at the Hotel Abades Nevada Palace, a modern conference venue located in Granada, with easy access to the city centre.

Accomodation
The Organising Committee has arranged special accommodation rates for IPB-27 participants at Hotel Abades Nevada Palace, the official congress venue.
Participants wishing to stay at the congress hotel can benefit from the rates below by booking directly with the hotel using the dedicated booking link and the code SEBP2027.
Please note that accommodation is not included in the congress registration fee. Each participant is responsible for making and managing their own hotel reservation directly with the hotel.
